Eight persons have been confirmed dead, while seven others have sustained various degrees of injuries in two separate accidents in the Ahafo region.
The incidents happened when the victims were going to Kwapong a Community in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region.
The media reported that the first accident occurred on Nobekwa -Kwapong road between a Tipper truck and a taxi cab.
While Goaso Ghana National service Tender was on its way to rescue the crash victims, unfortunately, the fire tender veered off on the road and crashed with a parked Kia before landing on its side.
Speaking with the Ahafo Regional MTTD Commander, DSP Ekow Gaisie confirmed 8 dead, seven fire service personnel have been discharged while one is still responding to treatment at Goaso Municipal Hospital.
