Authorities in various health facilities in the Tano South Municipal of Ahafo Region has pleaded to the parliamentary hopeful for the NPP in the Tano South Constituency, Mr. Kwaku Nkansah to put the necessary arrangement to come and support them with the numerous challenges they face.
According to them, health facilities in the municipality need equipment, infrastructures and other supporting health materials and therefore appealed individuals to come to their aid to enhance the work.
They disclosed this to Kojo Mframa on Tuesday when Mr. Kwaku Nkansah donated soft drinks and bottles of water worth Ghc, 6,000 to three health facilities namely; Derma Health center, Bechem Government Hospital and Techimantia Polyclinic as part of the valentine’s day celebration.
At Derma Health center, the Physician assistant, Mr, Christopher Kwabena thanked Mr. Kwaku Nkansah for remembering nurses during such an occasion but indicated that the facility needs laboratory center to speed up their day to day activities.
Also, in Techimantia Polyclinic, the Administrator, Mr. Salifu Abdul Mofin also revealed that, the nurses and doctors in the area lacks staff accommodation for their staff and called for support.
Meanwhile, the Administrator of the Bechem Government hospital, Mr. Atta Opoku called on the NPP parliamentary hopeful to put the necessary arrangements to renovate older wards, provide equipment to the hospital.
Mr. Kwaku Nkansah used the occasion to promise health facilities if he is giving the opportunity to serve the people in the constituency, all the necessary support will be provided to improve health sector in the area.
