The Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the Ghana Police Service in the Ahafo region, Inspector kwadjo Boakye, has revealed that, his outfit has introduced Formed Police Unit in various communities to promote peace in six constituencies especially during election periods.
He disclosed that, all the necessary measures have been put in place to enhance security issues in the region.
Inspector kwadjo Boakye also revealed the Police Service is facing numerous challenges including permanent accommodation across the region.
He has, therefore, appealed to the Inspector General of Police and other stakeholders to come to their aid in ensuring they deliver to protect lives and properties.
He used the opportunity to appeal to individuals to work with police personnel to enhance security issues in the Ahafo Region by providing informations of criminal activities.
