The Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Eric Opoku, has received a donation from K. Badu Agro Chemicals at the Ministry’s office to support farmers and the upcoming Farmers’ Day celebration.
Speaking to the media, Hon. Eric Opoku expressed his heartfelt gratitude to K. Badu Agro Chemicals for their generous contribution. He revealed that this is the second donation received in recent days, following a similar gesture from Ndede Company Limited.
According to the Minister, K. Badu Agro Chemicals donated 100 motorized sprayers to aid the 2025 National Farmers’ Day celebration, which is scheduled for December 5, 2025.
Hon. Opoku assured the donors that the Ministry will ensure the items are distributed to deserving Ghanaian farmers, emphasizing that the purpose of the donation is to boost agricultural production. He stated that the Ministry will act as a conduit to make sure the support reaches the right beneficiaries.
He further urged other companies and organizations to emulate K. Badu Agro Chemicals by contributing to the ongoing transformation of Ghana’s agricultural sector.
The Minister once again thanked K. Badu Agro Chemicals for their kind gesture and continued support towards the development of agriculture in Ghana.
