AJ Auxerre midfielder is set for a sensational return to the Black Stars team ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifying games against Chad and Mali.
Ghana will travel to face Chad on September 4 before hosting Mali on September 8 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According reports, Owusu, one of the captains of Auxerre has been included in the Black Stars for the upcoming games.
Owusu has been out of the Black Stars in recent times, missing games against Chad and Madagascar in March and the Unity Cup matches against Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago in May.
Having gained full fitness, he is expected to return for the upcoming matches as the Ghana aim to secure quick World Cup qualification.
