Ghana international Mohammed Kudus is expected to feature for Ajax when they face Heracles in the Ducth Eredivisie opener on Saturday.
The Black Stars midfielder is reported to have reached an agreement to join Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion.
Despite the transfer speculations, Ajax manager Maurice Steijn has confirmed the Ghana international will be available for selection.
“Mohammed Kudus can play tomorrow. There are many things happening around him, but nothing concrete happened in the end. I’m very happy that he’s with us tomorrow,” Steijn stated.
The former FC Nordjaelland is a subject of interest for several clubs due to his swashbuckling performance last-term but it has been reported he could join Brighton having reached agreement to join for a transfer fee of 40 million euros.
