The founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party, GFP Madam Akua Donkor has turned the gun on the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Hon. Frank Annoh- Dompreh for allegedly taking over some properties and a huge acre of family lands belonging to her at Nsawam.
Revealing to the media, the controversial politician noted that, she bought the land from a family living in Nsawam some twenty-five years ago but the said Member of Parliament has claimed ownership of it, including other valuable properties, and is however calling on the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Bagbin to call the MP to order for such unlawful behavior.
She stated that, the MP together with one state Attorney and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng forcefully broke into her house at Nsawam and seized several valuable properties, including four gold bottles sold at 7billion cedis, two poly tanks containing her belongings, and others.
“I am calling on the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Bagbin to call the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency, Hon Annoh-Dompreh to order, he has no respect for the laws. He has unlawfully claimed ownership of a huge acre of lands I bought from a family living in Nsawam with requisite documents. I am appealing to the Speaker to step in and investigate this matter”, she noted.
Madam Akua Donkor however reiterated that she is prepared to officially petition the Speaker of Parliament over the alleged misconduct of the MP and his accomplices if her demands are not met.
“I will officially write to the Speaker of Parliament and the Majority Caucus in parliament for the unlawful conduct of Hon. Annoh-Dompreh. He doesn’t deserve to be called a Member of Parliament. How can you take possession of someone’s property and call yourself an honorable person? It’s an eyesore”, she emphasized.
