Kwahumanhene, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II has commended President Akufo-Addo and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the many developmental projects initiated since his assumption into office.
The traditional ruler has also praised the President for putting down pragmatic measures to help deal with the spread of the COVID-19 in the country since its outbreak in the country in February 2020.
Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II was grateful to the President for helping to deal with activities of Fulani herdsmen which disrupt activities of farmers in the Kwahu enclave.
Speaking at a durbar to welcome President Akufo-Addo at Kwahu-Abetifi on Friday 2nd, 2020, the Chief however appealed to the President to construct the Abetifi-Abene road to help easy access of residents who are predominantly farmers.
President Akufo-Addo in his speech was overwhelmed over the appellation from the Chief and pledged to leave a great legacy in Kwahuman before the end of his second term.
He also, re-echoed government commitment to construct a bridge on the Volta Lake to connect Afram Plains to Kwahu areas on road to ease the stress residents go through in acceding the area.
He, therefore, called on the people of Kwahu to vote massively for the NPP and it’s parliamentary candidates to secure another four years to continue the good works already started.
