The Akufo-Addo led government has been described as a failure in fulfilling promises made to Ghanaians before the 2016 and the 2020 general elections respectively.
The Eastern Regional Secretary of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Comrade Cudjoe Adukpo has expressed shock at the President’s continuous promises despite failing to deliver many of those made.
Speaking on Bryt FM Ebesi Sen political show on Thursday, Comrade Cudjoe Adukpo insisted that the NPP government is just interested in changing of names of schools and agencies previously instead of embarking on new projects.
“The NPP is just interested in changing of names but not initiating projects. Former President Kufuor came to change Junior Secondary School (JHS) and Senior Secondary school (SSS) to Junior High and Senior High respectively, which did not influence the country’s education status” he stated.
He again, insisted that the NDC is noted for the country’s many infrastructural projects in the health and educational sectors, road construction, improved security, and other sectors of the economy.
He, however, queried what the NPP still attributes its failure to the John Mahama-NDC administration even after been in power for over five years now.
He added, “The Akufo-Addo government has no credibility to chastise the NDC because we are the pillar of Ghana’s development in the fourth republic”.
