President Akufo-Addo will also attend a meeting with the Oti Regional House of Chiefs at Dambai today, 22nd October 2020 as part of his campaign tour to the area.
He will also inspect work on the Kete Krachi Town Roads in the Krachi West constituency. He will commission the Nandi Junction-Dordo Kope road and the Krachi-Banda road at Borae Junction in the Krachi Nchumuru constituency.
Nana Akufo-Addo will cut the sod for the NYA Youth Resource Centre there, and end with a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the Zoomlion Waste Recycling and Compost Plant at Yariga No.1 also in the Krachi East constituency of the Oti region.
Early in October, Oti Region House of Chiefs elected Nana Mprah Besemuna III, Krachiwura as President of the House and Okoforobour Baffour of Tapa as Vice President.
Members of the newly created Oti Regional House of Chiefs have expressed their profound gratitude to President Akufo-Addo for the creation of the region.
The Oti Region was created out of the Volta Region after an emphatic YES vote in a referendum last year, and the process was completed with a historic inauguration of the Oti Regional House of Chiefs by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday, September 22 at Dambai.
