President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed Fawaz Aliu and Emmanuel Adumua-Bosman as Deputy Chief of staff to replace Samuel Abu Jinapor and Francis Asenso-Boakye who are in Parliament now as Members of the Legislature after serving four years in the Jubilee House.
The President has also maintained Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare as Chief of Staff for another four years.
Francis Asenso-Boakye defeated the incumbent Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency in Kumasi, Daniel Okyem Aboagye in Primaries, and won the seat on December 7 general election with an incredible 58,989 votes as against Joseph Amo’s 7,189 and Saahene Kwaku’s 221.
The knowledgeable politician defeated the NDC’s Joseph Amo and Saahene Kwaku Stephen of the UPP in the 2020 December polls.
Mr. Samuel Abu Jinapor is headed to Parliament after winning the Parliamentary election in the Damongo Constituency of the Savannah Region.
The legal practitioner polled 15,671 votes to defeat the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP), Mr. Adam Mutawakilu who polled 13,330 votes while an independent candidate David Tiki Dange polled 296 votes.
