President Akufo-Addo has resumed his campaign tour in Volta and Eastern Regions.
This is after Political parties suspended Campaign for a week over the demise of former President JJ Rawlings who died on November 12, 2020.
President Akufo-Addo will begin his Volta regional tour at Hohoe where he will launch the campaign of Energy Minister John Peter Amewu who is contesting the Hohoe seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The President will commission a mini-hydro and inspect some ongoing road construction. He will also interact with chiefs and people of the Municipality.
The President will then move to the Eastern Region to begin a two-day tour of the Region.
The President is scheduled to round up his campaign with about sixteen days left in the Ashanti, Western, Greater Accra, and Central Regions and return to the Eastern Region few days to the election, vote at Kibi before he returns to Accra.
Meanwhile, the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is also expected to be in the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo regions as well as the five Regions of the North.
The leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, John Dramani Mahama has also resumed his campaign in the Ashanti Region.
