President Akufo-Addo has sent Condolence message to families and loved ones of the deceased in the horrific accident at Cape Coast -Takoradi highway Tuesday dawn.
On his Twitter handle, the president said “My sympathies and condolences go to all the families and loved ones of the deceased in the horrific accident on the… https://t.co/IdGbbwdfZQ”.
A total of 36 persons have been confirmed dead in a highway accident.
The two buses are a Man Diesel with registration number GR 5704-18 which was traveling from Takoradi towards Cape Coast and a Hyundai bus with registration number GN 3780-10 from Cape Coast towards Takoradi.
About 50 people are in critical condition and are at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital receiving treatment now.
The report indicates that the driver from Accra was overtaken another vehicle where it collided with the bus coming from the cape coast.
