President Akufo-Addo will on Wednesday, 5th August 2020 commission the first-ever public university for the people of the Eastern region in Somanya in the Yilo Krobo municipality.
The Mahama-led NDC government cut the sod for the construction of the University of Environment and Sustainable Development due to a change of power, but President Akufo-Addo and the NPP government has walked the talk and ensures the facility is completed.
