Francis Asenso-Boakye, Roads and Highways minister ended his working visit to the Volta region with a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the Gbi Traditional Area, Togbega Gabusu VII, in Hohoe.
Among others, the minister inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Have-Hohoe Road (53.35 km), which is now 50% complete.
Additionally, he observed the condition of the Hohoe-Golokwati Road, which runs through the main Hohoe township, and directed that urgent measures be taken to address the bad section of this critical route.
In Gbi-Kledzo, Hohoe, Mr Asenso-Boakye met with Togbe Deh III, the Divisional Chief, to update him on the progress of their roads and to reaffirm our commitment to improve their road condition.
Since 2017, the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration has undertaken significant initiatives to upgrade the road network in this region, and we remain dedicated to continuing these efforts for the benefit of our people.
