Veteran musician Kwame Asare-Obeng, commonly known as A plus, has said that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by President Akufo-Addo can’t be trusted as they keep failing Ghanaians with the promises.
According to him, the ruling party and the National Democratic Congress have no differences, according to A-plus. He assumed they were all the same.
A Plus indicated on the Maakye Show with Omanhene on Kessben FM that the increase in petrol costs is not the responsibility of any government that will come to power. He went on to say that anytime there is an increase in petrol prices, these political groups blame each other to earn political points.
“It’s always been like that.” They’ll make promises they know they won’t be able to keep. They have no control over the gasoline situation. As a result, I won’t be able to say anything about it.
When there is suffering in the country, though, you do not go out and buy a plane or rent a private jet to bathe in the sky. That’s terrible. This is one of Ghana’s worst governments in the country’s history. It has taken the Bishops Catholics 5 years to detect this. “Asantehene will come to announce it very soon,” he stated emphatically.
