On Wednesday, NPP Flagbearer hopeful Alan Kyeremanten visited former Speaker of Parliament, Prof Michael Aaron Oquaye and international boxing legend, Barima Azumah Nelson, to console them on the passing of Major Rtd. Alberta Adwoa Boatemaa Oquaye, wife of Prof. Oquaye and Ms. Comfort Atwei Quarcoo, mother of Azumah Nelson, respectively.
According to Mr. Kyeremanten,the late Maj. Rtd. Oquaye has been a wise counsel behind the former Speaker in his political, academic and theological work, while Madam Quarcoo was a pillar of strength and encouragement to her son.
“They both will be sorely missed and l pray they find peace and comfort in the divine presence of the Almighty” he added.
