Former Trades and Industry minister, Alan Kwadwo John Kyeremanten had successfully handed over to the caretaker Minister, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor.
Mr. Jinapor has been tasked by His Excellency the President to assume responsibility for the Ministry of Trade and Industry pending the appointment of a substantive replacement.
Mr. Kyeremanten resigned from the ministry as the sector minister to pave way his political ambition of being the Flagbearer of the NPP in the 2024 general elections.
The Agric minister, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has also resigned to pursue the same ambition of leading in the 2024 presidential elections.
