New Patriotic Party flagbearer hopeful, Alan Kyeremanten on Sunday paid homage to the respected paramount Chief of Kumawu, Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua, and the Queenmother, Nana Serwaa Amponsah.
It was reassuring to hear their thoughts on how both can work together to improve the lives of “our people”.
Mr. Kyeremanten later visited the family of the late Member of Parliament for Kumawu, Hon. Philip Basoah, to commiserate with them on his demise.
“The passing of the late Basoah is a great loss to the people of Kumawu, the NPP, and the nation as a whole. I pray for strength and comfort for his family and loved ones during this difficult time” he said.
He embarked on the above journey after he had the honor of worshipping and celebrating Palm Sunday with the Calvary Methodist Church in Asokwa, Ashanti Region.
The day also marked the 5th anniversary on the passing of the late Akenten Appiah-Menka, a founding member and stalwart of the NPP.
