The New Patriotic Party, NPP will on Tuesday, September 26 respond to the resignation of former Trades and Industry minister, Alan John Kyeremanten.
In a press statement released on Monday afternoon after the declaration by Mr. Kyeremanten, it is therefore appealing to the rank and file of the party to remain calm and await what the party has to sayon the matter.
Mr. Alan John Kyeremanten declared his intention to contest Asante independent presidential candidate in the 2024 general elections after resigning from the party.
He withdrew from the NPP Flagbearer Race after the party’s super delegates conferenc, stating issues of intimidation and physical assault on some of his polling agents.
