The team from the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation (MoCD), Kofi Annan ICT Center of Excellence (KACE), and the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) on Wednesday, 23rd April, 2023 dispatched all necessary accessories for the Training of Girls (ToG) in the Savannah Region as part of the Girls-In-ICT program.
The training forms part of efforts to encourage girls to take up career courses in ICT.
In all, 1000 girls will be trained across the region in fifty (50) centers.
The girls were selected from all the seven (7) districts in the region.
They will be trained in basic computing, coding and e-safety.
Training starts from 25th April – 6th May amidst district and regional competitions to select the best 100 girls.
The training will be conducted in two batches under the theme, “Digital Skills for Life”.
