The Deputy General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has disclosed that he is no longer interested in retaining his position in the party.
“I won’t contest as deputy General Secretary even if the party wants me to,’’ Nana Obiri Boahen said.
“Take me for my word, I have my followers who would respond with equal measure should Mahama continue to preach do or die. I won’t incite others for lawlessness to take place, but the NDC can’t intimidate the NPP”, Nana Obiri Boahen told Wontumi TV.
“I want to lead the charge to organize men who would be ‘whipping’ notorious boys from John Mahama’s camp,’’ he said.
Nana Obiri Boahen affirmed that the NDC can’t bully or intimidate the NPP.
