Ghana coach Chris Hughton has announced his squad for the upcoming international friendly games against Mexico and the United State of America.
The Black Stars will take on Mexico at the Bank of America stadium – Charlotte on Saturday, October 14 before taking on the United States of America on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in Nashville Tennessee.
Ahead of the games, the former Premier League manager has named a 23-man squad for the encounter, dropping captain Andre Ayew.
Meanwhile, Daniel Amartey, Tariq Lamptey and deputy captain Thomas Partey who missed the September international break have made a return to the team.
Hughton is expected to use the two friendly as part of the build up to the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers in November and the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.
