The angry mob at Karaga in the Northern region on Thursday evening shot dead an armed robber and set him on fire.
The deceased believed to be in his 20s was among a gang of six armed robbers who attempted to rob a mobile money vendor identified as Muftawu Mohammed.
The incident took place around 7:26pm Thursday, 17th December 2020.
The other accomplices however managed to escape.
Police have commenced an investigation into the incident.
