Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has committed his future to AFC Bournemouth, signing a new contract that will keep him at the English Premier League club until 2030.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Cherries from EFL Championship side Bristol City during the January transfer window of the 2022/23 season, has rapidly become a key figure in the squad.
Semenyo enjoyed a breakout campaign in the 2024/25 season, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists in 42 appearances across all competitions. His contributions were instrumental in Bournemouth’s impressive ninth-place finish in the Premier League.
Reacting to the new deal, the Black Stars striker expressed his delight at extending his stay on the south coast.
“I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season,” Semenyo said. “From the fans to the staff and my teammates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be, and I’m excited to get back to Bournemouth and continue the hard work with the new season just around the corner.”
The long-term extension signals both the club’s belief in Semenyo’s potential and his own commitment to continue developing at the highest level of English football.
