The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, to apologize to Ghanaians for raising Political tension in the country during the just ended of the new voter registration exercise.
According to the General Secretary of the NPP, Mr. John Boadu, the NPP expects Mr. John Mahama to go further and apologize to Ghanaians for the dangerous ethnic sentiments he raised.
Speaking to the press on Monday, August 10, 2020, the General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu, said the actions of the NDC during the exercise has caused fear and tension in the country.
He added that Ghanaians didn’t deserve this from an immediate past President of this great nation.
“The government’s attempts to guard Ghana’s borders during the voter’s registration exercise to make the registration exercise peaceful,’’ he explained.
