Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor has made a modest contribution of Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 20,000) to the Appiatse Support Fund.
The fund was established to raise money for the reconstruction of the Appiatse community after a dynamite explosion some few weeks ago.
“I passionately implore Ghanaians, corporate entities, residents and friends of Ghana to contribute generously to the fund to enable us to realize this all-important project” the minister stated.
The government through the state Housing Company (SHC) has decided to construct new buildings for the victims of the community and also support them with capital to start a new business as most of them have lost their daily bread jobs.
