Former Deputy Information Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has revealed that in addition to hundreds of civil servants, President AKufo-Addo has 337 political hirelings in the Presidency.
He alleged that hundreds out of this number constitute unintelligent lying hordes on Facebook who have been given documents relating to the modest salaries of just four office staff of President Mahama.
“Of course, they will not publish the much bigger salaries of the 337 political hirelings at the Presidency nor the salaries of the staff of President Kufours’s office who actually receive many more additional perks including vehicles which are not given to those who work at Mr Mahama’s office”.
“This frenzied effort is intended to douse the effects of the rebuttal to the even more unintelligent lies of Abronye who they rolled out last week to peddle nonsensical lies that President Mahama had received GHS 14 million in ex-gratia in 2013 and has received benefits amounting to GHS 15 million since 2017” Mr Ofosu Kwakye stated in a social media comment.
He added that, having had such lies blown apart by President Mahama’s revelation in a TV3 interview that he had received no such amounts and further disclosures that he (Mahama) bears his own bills and those of his domestic staff, the lying hordes at the Presidency have now been given documents relating to vehicles presented to him only a couple of weeks ago.
He questioned, “How this answers the issues raised by President Mahama and proves the lies told by the crude Abronye can best be explained by the putrid minds who found the need to peddle them in the first place”.
“The Presidency sent two SUVs for President Mahama’s security detail. Three salon cars were also sent, out of which only one was taken for the same security detail who are state security officials”. President Mahama has not taken any new vehicles for his personal use” he stressed.
According to the brilliant NDC Communicator, “This calumny has only been hatched because Akufo-Addo stands isolated as an excessively extravagant waster of public funds”.
“He has been left further exposed by President Mahama’s commitment to do something about Article 71 emoluments in conformity with the demands and expectations of the Ghanaian people”.
Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu jabbed President Akufo-Addo for living like an Arabian King while bankrupting our country through hopeless incompetence, corruption, nepotism and sheer waste of public funds.
“Here is a man who hasn’t had any problem spending GHS 34 million on the rental of luxurious jets for his travels when we have a functional Presidential jet. President Mahama had no problem flying commercial and sitting in economy class while he led this country” he ended.
