A radio Pastor with Afram FM in Tease, the District capital of Afram Plains South in the Eastern Region has been robbed together with other passengers.
The incident took place at Asukese junction stretch of Tease to Fori- Fori road at about 7:00am on Monday.
The robbers blocked the road to rob two commercial vehicles which the Radio Pastor Agyei Busy Nathan was onboard.
Agyei Budu Nathan the radio pastor on Afram FM, a local said the robbers absconded with his two mobile phones and an amount of GHC 3,200.00 he has mobilized to organize a funeral for his dead wife at Akyem Osino.
Other victims also lost mobile phones, cash, and other personal effects.
The suspects have not been arrested.
The highway robbers are part of a gang terrorizing commuters in the Afram Plains area for over a decade with no end in sight to their attacks.
