Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has expressed his desire to play for the Black Stars ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Nketiah, who was born in England, has featured for the junior national teams of the European country.
But in an interview with The Beautiful Game podcast, the 22-year-old has confirmed his desire to play for the West African country.
‘Of course, it is a possibility. I’m open to both, playing for Ghana and playing for England as well,”
“It’s always good to have the opportunity to potentially do that,” the youngster added.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group H of the World Cup along with European giants Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
Ghana is making its 4th appearance at the World Cup after participating in the 2006, 2010, and 2014 editions.
