Former Hearts of Oak striker, Bernard has picked Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan as his football idol.
Arthur, who recently signed for Albanian top-flight side, FK Apolonia says he learns a lot from the ex-Sunderland attacker and wants to follow his career footpath.
In an interview with Koforidua based Bryt FM, he said, “Gyan is my best friend and he advises me a lot. He has been my idol since colts time and he is aware of it”
“Although Gyan is my idol, I’m not keen about emulating what he’s done in football, I want to also do things on my own but truth to be told, I take inspirations from him”
“He has achieved a lot in his career so I will try and do my best and if I’m able to reach his level so shall it be,” he said.
Asamoah Gyan is the all-time top scorer for Ghana with 51 goals after making his Black Stars debut in 2003.
