Asante Kotoko has been boosted by the return of injured Mudasiru Salifu ahead of their clash against WAFA at Sogakope.
The enterprising midfielder prior to the commencement of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season suffered a fractured metatarsal in his left foot during pre-season which kept him out of action for several weeks.
Salifu was spotted amongst the players that showed up for training at the Adako Jachie training grounds on Wednesday morning and this comes as a massive boost for interim coach Johnson Smith.
His appearance in training with his teammates suggests that he is nearing a return to action for the Porcupine Warriors.
Asante Kotoko currently sit 6th position on the table with 12 points.
