Medeama SC Chief Executive Officer, James Essilfie has confirmed they are in advance talks with Asante Kotoko over the acquisition of their midfielder, Justice Blay for the upcoming Africa campaign.
The midfield enforcer was farmed out on loan by the Tarkwa based club in the 2019/2020 season and had an impressive season for the porcupine warriors.
However, the Kumasi based club has expressed keen interest to capture the marauding midfielder on a permanent basis as they prepare for the 2020/2021 season.
“We are in advanced talks with Kotoko and I believe everything will be okay. Kotoko began talks with us after naming their new Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah”
“We will get the money we want and they (Kotoko) will also make sure that they’ve done good business,” he said.
