The District Chief Executive for Asene Manso Akroso District, Hon. Eric Ahinakwa has held a DISEC meeting with contractors working on the Accra-Kumasi Express Road to discuss compensation for residents whose farms and properties are affected by the project.
During the meeting, the contractors assured that community engagements will be held to address concerns and ensure affected persons are properly engaged before any further works proceed.
After the meeting, Hon. proceeded to Akroso to monitor the ongoing free National Health Insurance Scheme NHIS renewal and registration exercise. He also inspected work on the replacement of the ECG transformer at Akroso Market to ensure timely completion and improved power supply for traders and residents.
The DCE reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring that development projects benefit residents and that essential services reach the people without delay.
