The human rights division of the Accra high court has adjourned the contempt case brought against the Ghana football association by Ashanti Gold sporting club to October 25.
The adjournment follow a directive by judge, justice Nicholas Agbodakpi for all members of the executive council of the GFA to individually respond to the contempt case brought before the human rights division of the high court than do so as a collective.
Ashanti Gold cited the executive council of the FA for contempt, claiming the football governing body ignored an interlocutory injunction placed on the start of the 22/23 betpawa premier league.
The club is thus seeking imprisonment for the GFA executive council members for what they say is a disregard for the dignity, respect and authority of the court.
