Together with RECSEC, the Ashanti Regional Minister Dr Frank Amoakohene have visited the Suame Market following the devastating fire outbreak.
On behalf of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, the team extended heartfelt sympathies to the victims and assured them of Government’s support during this difficult time.
They also provided relief items and cash donations to the most vulnerable traders who lost their livelihoods.
Beyond the immediate assistance, the minister assured that Government remain committed to working with stakeholders to restore normalcy and safeguard the welfare of the people.
“Special thanks to the MCE and the Ghana National Fire Service for their swift efforts in containing and extinguishing the fire” he wrote.
