Ghana Premier League side Ashantigold is set to appoint Samuel Boadu as head coach of the club after parting ways with Serbian trainer Milovan Cirkovic.
Boadu, who joined Medeama in 2017 resigned from his post with immediate effect a few hours after leading the team to beat Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.
He tendered in his resignation citing personal reasons for his decision.
But according to reports the miners have made strides in their bid to sign Samuel Boadu after offering him a deal that seems too good for the coach to turn down.
He is expected to leave Tarkwa in the coming days and make a step up in his career with the Obuasi-based club.
In the interim, Sarfo Castro and Thomas Duah are taking charge of the team.
