Ashantigold winger Yaw Annor finished the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season as the top scorer with 22 goals.
The enterprising player weaved his magic on the final day of the domestic top-flight as Ashantigold shared the spoils with Bibiani Goldstars on Sunday.
Yaw Annor scored a brace to leapfrog Asante Kotoko forward Frank Mbella in the miner’s 2-2 draw at the Duns Park.
His 22 goals mean, he has equalled Hearts of Oak legend Ismael Addo’s Ghana Premier League record.
Ismael Addo during the 2002 league season scored a record of 22 goals to win the goal king, however, after 21 years, Yaw Annor has equalled the long-standing record.
