The outstanding Ghana Premier League match between Ashantigold and Asante Kotoko will be played on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
The week 29 fixture was postponed due to security reasons following the miner’s demotion to the third-tier over match manipulation.
According to the Ghana FA, the security risk and the advice from the security services remain unchanged by the next home match by Ashantigold, the Association reserves the right shift the home matches of Ashantigold to be played at the club’s selected alternative match venue.
The Obuasi-based club inflicted a 3-1 win over Elmina Sharks away despite suffering demotion to the lower tier ahead of next season.
Meanwhile, Kotoko were stunned by ten-man Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, courtesy of Kelvin Obeng’s solitary strike.
