Aspiring Parliamentary candidate for New Juaben South in the Eastern Region, Michael Okyere Baafi has said that his political opponent Dr Mark Asibey Yeboah has less experience in politics as he believes he has much experience in the said field.
Mr Baafi’s comment came after many have described him as greedy over his decision to contest the incumbent Member of Parliament.
According to the Free Zones Authority Chief Executive Officer, though Asibey Yeboah is the incumbent MP of the constituency but is of the view that, he is ahead of him in the political game per experienced he’s got as a student politician.
He added that per the experienced gained in top management level he has got a fair idea about governance and has indicated that he is well equipped when it comes to the strategies used in governing a nation.
“I really have the mind and strategy about governance. Looking at how I helped in decision making, I don’t think my MP (Asibey Yeboah) has gotten that opportunity.
When we talk about political experience, I am ahead of Asibey Yeboah. In fact, he doesn’t even have half of my experience in the game. Per what I have done as a student politician till now, he is below par”
“So when we talk about politics in Koforidua, he (Asibey) cannot be compared to me. That is why I have been clamouring for his credentials because mine is open to the public”
He has therefore called on delegates in the New Juaben South to vote for someone who they think will put their interest at heart and help them in achieving success.
