The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asuogyaman Constituency, Thomas Ampem Nyarko has presented a cheque of Ghc5,000 to Anum Secondary School(ANSEC) towards the renovation of a science laboratory in the school.
The MP also presented a set of Sports jersey for their sporting events.
The donation was in response to a request by the School to the Office of the Member of Parliament.
The MP further pledged to construct a modern toilet facility for use by students in the boy’s dormitory.
Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko used the opportunity to encourage the students writing their WASSCE to adhere to both Covid-19 preventive protocols and WAEC examination regulations.
This is the second time in a year the MP has supported the School. In 2019, the MP donated an amount of Ghc10,000 towards the renovation of the school.
Thomas Ampem Nyarko was accompanied by the Vice-Chairperson, the Constituency Secretary of the party as well as Old students of the school.
