Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman, Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko gave a key note address at a Durbar of Teachers held on Wednesday the 5th of October, 2022 at Akwamuman Senior High School.
The Durbar and Awards Ceremony was organized by the Asuogyaman District National Association of Teachers (GNAT) and the District Education Directorate, to mark the occasion of “World Teachers Day”.
As a teacher, the MP used the opportunity to commend my colleagues across the district especially those in rural communities for their efforts in building the future of our dear country and renewed his pledge to keep supporting teachers from the district in furthering their education.
In addition to supporting the awards ceremony with GHC5,000.00, the MP have also released an amount of GHC30,000.00 for the reconstruction of a portion of a classroom block of Adome D/A Basic School that broke down as a result of a heavy rainstorm some few months ago.
He added “My greatest respect to the District Education Directorate, all Head Teachers and Teachers across Asuogyaman.
Together Let’s Build the Future”.
