The Business Advisory Center (Rural Enterprise Support) a Department under the Asuogyaman District Assembly has handed over start-up kits to registered beneficiaries.
According to the District Director of the Business Advisory Center, Mr. Owusu Ansah, the Start-up kits including two set of soap cutting machine, a set of gari processing machine, a set of palm processing machine and four (4) sets of baking flour confectionery totaling One Hundred and Eighty Thousand Cedis (GHC180,000) are to aid the registered beneficiaries expand their business activities and employ more persons as well.
The District Chief Executive for the Asuogyaman District Assembly, Hon. Samuel Kwame Agyekum in a brief address mentioned that the government and its agencies will continue to provide the needed support to both the formal and informal sectors of the economy in other for them to expand production, which will, in turn, have a positive outlook on the economy.
He also encouraged the youth, in particular, to register with the agency (Business Advisory Center) at the district assembly to be trained and also access such relevant support.
