Atalanta is finalizing a move for Ghana international winger Kamaldeen Sulemana in the ongoing transfer window.
The pacey Ghanaian attacker has attracted significant interest this summer following Southampton’s relegation to the Championship.
Sulemana is on the radar of fellow Serie A club Genoa, Ajax and Trabzonspor, but it appears Atalanta have won the race for his services.
Initially, Atalanta presented an offer around £10 million, which was rebuffed by Southampton. However, an improved offer of £15 million from Atalanta’s chances of snapping up the Ghanaian winger.
At the moment, negotiation between Atalanta and Southampton is at the final stages, with the winger expected to seal a move in the coming days.
The 23-year-old made 26 appearances in the Premier League in the recently concluded season, scoring one goal and providing an assist across the period.
