The Chief of Akroso in Asene Manso Akroso District of the Eastern Region Nana Kwabena Ofori has gone berserk describing the Member of Parliament for Assin Central as a mad person who will soon eat feces.
The Chief was furious over the Lawmaker’s comment that he (Chief) is a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress that even if his palace is painted NDC resident should not follow him to vote for the NDC but rather evaluate the good policy interventions such as free Senior high school, Planting for Food and Jobs among others rolled out by President Akufo Addo improving the lives of Ghanaians.
However reacting to the comment the Chief minced no words in rebuking the MP saying “I think Kennedy Agyapong is going mad, he will go mad to eat feces. Is he the one who registered me in NDC or seen me with an NDC card neither seen me on the Campaign platform with NDC? So I don’t understand what he is saying. He should stop fooling. He has insulted everybody in this country including Chiefs and Pastors he wants to bring it on to me. I am ready to die he should hire people to kill. I know under this government if someone is killed nothing happens. Kennedy Agyapong should kill I know he will walk free with impunity.”
The Chief said he is ready to physically fight the Lawmaker if he dares try him.
The Chief warned that he will go all out to influence his subjects to vote against the NPP MP in the area-George Kwame Aboagye popularly known as Oluwa in December 7 polls for bringing Kennedy Agyapong onto his land to verbally abuse him and desecrate the stool.
According to the Chief, he is apolitical because he is a traditional leader therefore welcomes every political leader who comes to his palace however no NPP top official has visited his palace since the 2016 election, unlike the NDC.
