Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and also the Former MP for the Awutu Senya West Constituency, Patron of I – Smile Community Help Program in Awutu Bawjiase, Hannah Serwaah Tetteh, has charged the current MP for the Constituency(Hon Gizella Agbotui Tetteh) and the Awutu Senya District Assembly to find everything possible to make Awutu Bawjiase an “Industrial Fashion Hub” where companies who may wish to Sew a dress will turn up to the constituency going into 2026.
The Former Minister and MP addressing the 9th graduation of the I-Smile Community Help Program revealed the kind of dresses the graduands exhibited shows clearly that Bawjiase community is poised to be making an industrial cluster of fashion.

The I-Smile Community Help Program is an initiative initiated by her(Hon Hannah Serwaah Tetteh) during her regime as a Member of Parliament in 2012 to nurture the teaming youth within the Constituency into skills training like hairdressing, dress making, barbering, catering and others to enable them acquire the skills free of charge towards improving their livelihoods.
This, she urged her own sister and MP for the area, together with the district assembly to help make the Bawjiase community and industrial fashion hub to promote fashion in the Central Region.
Chief of the Awutu Bawjiase Community, Nai Kwaku Osardu on his part commended the former MP and her sister, the incumbent MP for their immense contribution of executing skills onto the youths.
He has used the opportunity to remind the Mp(Hon Gizella Agbotui Tetteh) of her 24Hr Market promise to the Bawjiase community adding that land is available for the project.
Meanwhile, Director of the I-Smile Community Help Program Ismaila Abdullai Andoh has appealed to the government through the National Apprenticeship Program for support since accommodation challenges hindering their vision of granting free opportunities for over 200 Youths.
