Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central, Henry Quartey has with the support of GETFund donated educational materials to Ayawaso Central Municipal Education Directorate.
The MP’s donation was funded with his constituency’s share of the GETFund allocation as prescribed by the Constitution.
It must be noted that, as part of the distribution formula approved by parliament for the disbursement of GETFund’s monies, an amount is allocated to every MP, paid into the account of the respective District Education Directorates of the MP.
The expenses on the GETFund allocation are based on the directives of the MP in consultation with the District Education Director.
Mr Henry Quartey, who is also the Greater Accra Regional Minister, pledged his continuous support to the quality of education within the constituency.
