Ghanaian duo of Abdul Aziz Issah and John Antwi have been nominated for the 2024 CAF Inter-club Player of the Year award following their remarkable performances.
The pair have been recognized by the continental football governing body following their outstanding performance in the CAF Confederation Cup last season.
Both Aziz and Antwi were instrumental when Dreams FC defied the odds to reach the semifinals of the Confederation Cup in their maiden appearance.
The pair scored four goals each as the Still Believe lads reached a historic semi-final berth in the competition.
Aziz Issah’s stellar performance earned him a loan move to Spanish giants, Barcelona. He is currently playing for the club’s team B.
Antwi, who previously played for Al Ahly, Pyramids and other clubs on the continent departed Dreams FC at the end of the season. He has reportedly joined Libyan club Almoroj SC.
