The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described the Bank of Ghana as a crime scene with dire consequences due to mismanagement by the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Kwamina Yedu Addison.
The opposition party says BoG is currently bankrupt and collapsed as a result of mismanagement.
Speaking at a press conference on the moment of truth, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, the Minority Leader indicated the crucial role of the BoG has turned to disaster.
Dr Cassiel Forson added that the Bank of Ghana recorded a GH¢60.81 billion loss in the 2022 financial year and negative equity of GHC 55.1 billion.
He said that the NDC has warned the management of BoG over its poor performance.
