Ghana international Thomas Partey has popped up on the radar of Spanish giants, FC Barcelona.
The five-time Champions League holders intends to sign a midfielder in the upcoming transfer window to bolster their squad following Gavi’s injury.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Black Stars midfielder is among players shortlisted by Barcelona for a possible in the winter transfer window.
Other players on Barcelona’s list include Renato Sanches, Kalvin Phillips, Andrey Santos, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Yann M’Vila, and Grzegorz Krychowiak.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars midfielder is said to have informed the London-based club about his intention to depart the club in the upcoming transfer window.
Partey is currently recovering from an injury that has ruled him out of action since October 2023.
